Welcome to my blog. My blog is mainly for the sharing of the many projects I make either for swaps, for gifts or just because I was inspired by something I saw on the internet and wanted to give it a try as well. I hope you enjoy what you see and if you have any questions be sure to send me a comment.

Thank You Card

Just made this thank you card for the gal who sent me Tim Holtz's grunge board alphabet and icon sheets as a RAK It took a little while for me to get the inking of the letters the way I wanted them.  I used Tim's Distress Inks with a base of the Honey stain. These inks tend to murk and blend together since they are water soluable. But I think I'm happy with the final outcome.  It's the first time I actually did anything on the grunge board. And I used the pearl sticker design in white on another project and went back and bought some in this satiny beige color.  Embellishments are my weakest link.. but the more I use them the more I "get it."

Halloween Tags

Halloween Tag Pockets

This swap for my ATC Fun Yahoo group was a tag swap.  Once I looked at all the Halloween papers I had I decided I wanted to do something more than just a tag, so created the pocket to hold the Graphic 45 Alice in Wonderland images.  I love how they turned out.

Steampunk Tag

I made 7 of these for a swap on the All Things Tim
Yahoo group swap. I am so pleased with how they
turned out.  Usually once an idea is in my head I
quickly work it out and do it.  I am not always
pleased with the results and later think, I should have
done this or that.  This project I went slow on.  I had
a dummy tag that I tried everything on first before
following through on the actual tags.

Halloween Fun 2011

Halloween House

Welcome In

Enjoying the Art

I love printed papers as well and am pretty obsessed with Graphic 45, 7 Gypsies and the vintage lines of Bo Bunny.  Add them together with Tim Holtz images and techniques and I'm really getting back into the groove of using my rubber stamps.  I have been doing a lot of creating with my yahoo art trading groups. Ideas for ATC's, mini-books, altered projects like houses, spoons and what have you are just running in circles in my head.  There are also SO many blogs and websites to look at.  It's a crazy snowball ride.. you click one link, which leads you to another and then another...  well, you know how it goes.
